Partners Consulting provided Identity and Access Management and Security (IAM) and other services to Sabre in an effort to assist them with their Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) initiative. Initially, the project team assisted with the architecture given a standard product set for both current and future needs. Following selection, we assisted Sabre with a user provisioning project to delegate management of over two (2) million users ID’s located at approximately two hundred thousand 200,000 travel agency groups worldwide. At the time this was the largest user provisioning solution in the world and given the growth of the user ID’s being managed this implementation is still in the top ten globally. Other initiatives included a review of the architecture and performance of the current LDAP platform and assisted with performance and logical model enhancements. Additionally, we mentored teams of Sabre developers and provided a tool to allow travel agencies to securely search and manage users within their common portal framework.
